There are three buildings to choose from, each offering a unique living experience. Choose building 187 and you’ll have a room with a shared bathroom and shared kitchen (fantastic for cooking and eating together). Opt for building 189 and you’ll have a selection of luxurious studio apartments with your own private kitchen and bathroom. We also have an Annex building presenting you with a further choice of beautifully refurbished ground floor studio apartments with a view of our private courtyard.
Named after the novelist and journalist, Harriet Martineau is home to 420 students. Challenge your friends to a game of ping pong or pool in the common room, or simply relax on the comfy couches. You’ll also find a study room here.
At Harborne Lane, not only are you a short walk from your lectures, you will also be a stone’s throw away from a large retail park including Sainsbury’s, a large student community and beautiful nature and bike paths along the canals.
The location is further enriched by the historical significance of the area. You would be staying at a property with an adjoining entrance to the Selly Oak Gardens which was initially donated by the Cadbury family. The property itself was also used as a lodge in the 1920’s when it came in to park use.
